working in pc fair

PISA had PC fair last weekend and i'm working as a part timer there. selling digital cameras. i was kinda nervous at first cause i dont know much about digital cams. i dont own 1 myself =(

my class only finishes at 10.30am on friday, so i will be late for the first day. i followed hooichin there. she's working too! =)

we are late for the first day. so when we reach there, we went straight to the main booth for the company. everyone seems to be busy selling already. everyone have their "jobs" while both of us looked around. feeling so nervous and worried. then later one of the senior send me to another booth to help out there.

the booth is smaller than the main one. about 1/4 of the size only. but i get an easier job. my job is just to give out flyers to attract customers, shouting out the promotions to the crowd. i was kinda relieved at first to be given such an easy job and doesnt really need the knowledge of the product =P but after a few hours, it gets boring.. and my legs start to give out. after 3 days, i lost my voice!! TIRING!!

2nd day and 3rd was better. i get to promote and SELL digital cameras. it was fun! the way the customer asks for discounts or price rebate or free stuff. it was difficult at first as i'm working for the first time as a promoter. but later i learn more and more about the products and being more confident. and i learn a lot from the first day too!

and i tell you.. dont ever go to pc fair if u really dun have the intention to buy. it is SOOOO packed! ppl walk like sardins!!!

all in all, it was TIRING... but i had lotsa fun!! i meet new funny crazy friends like GS, pauline, kong, weei, kershing, *disted 199-299 guys*... lotsa funny moments along the 3 days~ no regret! if i get to work with them again in the future, i will go for it! =)


but one thing...


i miss the 08.08.08 BEIJING OLYMPIC open ceremony!!!!
