tai sau wok

went shopping with mum and aunt in prangin mall last weekend. had a tai sau wok (big intake)

rm19.90 from one of the shop. recently i love this type of long sleeve top.. maybe because disted's classrooms are too cold!!

miss jasvin told us that the planned meet up was supposed to be 2pm in sri sayang. so we reach there about 1.45pm and called karen. guess what? they changed the time to 3pm and the three of us (me, hooichin and lean) was not informed!

so we waited....

looks like karen's "on the way" is that she's still in butterworth! =.='' hooichin then decided that we should....

play UNO!! we actually sat down at the staircase and played UNO...lol

after playing about 5-6 rounds, we were being shoo-ed by the security guard from the stairs.. we then went over to the swimming pool area

and yes, we continued playing UNO again! lol nothing to do mar.. and the only game we have with us is UNO.. anyway UNO is kinda interesting if you change the rules a little =P until finally, about 3.15pm,

karen, jasvin and ranjini arrived!

we then took some photos using self timer, chit-chatted, catching up...

and ate ranjini's oi sam (sincere from the heart) sardine sandwich..

it was delicious!! even hooichin who doesnt like sardine ate a lot! =P THANKS RANJINI! (to ranjini: me and hooichin actually prayed that you are going to make sandwich when we were waiting for you because we are hungry! hahaha)

then praaba came. LATE!

we then changed into swimming suits/shirts and went to the swimming pool. arghhh so many people was there.. so sad that we gotta "share" the pool..

then aman arrived, LATEST!! =S and thanks to him, i was pushed twice into the pool.. if his phone was not with him, i will make sure he fall into the pool wan. ARGHHHHH

we settled down in long beach hawker centre and everyone went hunting for food. and let me show you something.

LOL that's aman's phone. his keypad at the "outer" layer sink inside and the keypad on the "inner" layer went missing! he told us the story of him in a ghost house... scary!

then diva arrived! havent been in touch with him since last day of june exam!

we had a simple mini belated birthday celebration for aman and diva.

CAT merit prize ceremony at disted

this morning i attended the disted merit prize ceremony. reach there about 9.45am. meet hooichin and we both went to the counter to find our seats number. mine is 26 and hooichin's 30.

to our horror when we went into the hall, we couldnt find out seats! red tags for merit prize scholars are not labeled at the chairs! only scholarship holder's seats are labeled. so we are stuck! it took us some time to find our seat by asking around.

then there's rehearsals and briefing on how we should walk our way to the stage and come back to our seats. by the time the event starts, it was at 11am sharp! not bad.. normally malaysians are late for this kind of thing isnt it? =P

the president of disted, Dr Chong gave his speech for about 15 minutes. then the ceremony starts! nothing much to say, besides people going up the stage, shake hands, and went down. lol

too bad this year dont have "refreshment". we were so hungry by the time the ceremony was over. rushed for our lunch! =P

after class

after planning for weeks and weeks and weeks for this outing, we finally decided to go today. redbox karaoke! =P

me, hooichin, lean, peishing and chuileng went to redbox in gurney straight after tax class. everyone went in one car, my slk! small little kancil ;)

once we reach gurney, we went to the big apple donut shop first. they are giving a box of donuts free for the first 100 customers! when we reach there, it's about 10.40am like that. should qualify for the first 100 right?

when we reach the basement, there's about 25 ppl queuing already for the donuts! *cis* we still try our luck though.. but just as we started to queue, one of the man told us the complimentary donuts are finish! can u imagine it, in 40 minutes, 100 boxes of donuts are finished! and it's a friday, who goes to gurney so early on a weekday? T_T me and hooichin left in disappointments.

then we went straight to redbox to start our karaoke session. (more to making noise session actually LOL). 11-1pm, singing our very best. while eating our fried rice and drink from the package. anyway, for those who bother to know, it's rm10.35 after tax, including 1 meal + 1 drink. oh ya, and if u have 3 ppl, they will let you sing for 3 hours! we got 5 ppl. so boh tat!

we had lotsa fun singing, and laughing and disturbing each other. then sharp at 1pm, we finish singing as they cut the songs already. haha. we stayed a little longer to take pictures. as a memory =P

oops! been lazy to blog lately. hehe. ampunkan me k?

last week was my mid term holiday for disted college. i did nothing beneficial actually. more to enjoy sitting around at home, staring at the computer screen and also the tv. supposed to finish up smallville season 7 but didnt managed to do so. supposed to clean my room but didnt even clean my table. i practically enjoy rotting at home. hehe

oh ya, on friday, hooichin, lean and me went to visit toby in the hospital too! he got a really high fever and admitted to hospital. suspected dengue at first. but dun worry friends, he's all right now. and it's not dengue. anyway, when we were visiting him, eileen, wanting and tinghua came too. so, instead of visiting toby, the whole thing ended up like a reunion. catching up with each other's story. sooooo much to update!

and the last three days of my holiday, i did some exercise. yes, u read it correctly. SHU-MIN went exercise! lol i feel like i gotta record the day i'm hardworking to do some exercise. so i gotta blog about it! haha i went swimming on friday and saturday. and i actually woke up at 6.45am on sunday to go for a morning jog with my family in botanical garden. surprised right? hahaha

now that my holiday has ended, i'm back to class, staring at the lecturers and four walls together with my 2 classmates. class is as boring as before.

oh ya, and the premier screening of mamma mia yesterday was nice! the movie was great!! watch it!!

bad or good day?

there are days where when i woke up, i sensed that the day will be bad. every little thing that happened will conclude me to think, "my day is so unlucky". like i nearly got into an accident. or i lost a few bucks. or the movie i am about to watch are fully booked. etc. get it?

but then there are days too where when i wake up, i realized, life is isnt that bad after all. everything seems to be going in my way. plans for outings are popping up. and there's no exam or test ahead! when i got home, suddenly my mum buys me my favourite food/dress/etc.. then a very good friend of mine called for a chat! everything is just so perfect!

i guess life always have it's ups and downs. i was just chatting with my friend. she complained that life is boring! i replied, life is boring. it's up to you to make it interesting. then i realized, i should say that to myself too! i wanna enjoy life! so from now on, i will make my life as interesting as i can! *being optimistic* haha

oh ya, i got 3 tickets for the Premier Screening of Mamma Mia by nuffnang. i'm going with my mum and sis! thx nuffnang!
