As appointment, I went to the dentist today. Reached there about 12.30pm and waited for the nurse to call my name. After about 15 minutes, my name was finally called, and I entered into THE ROOM.

I've always hated going to the dentist. It's not that they are bad people or something, but the smell, the noise and the pain, arghhh I hate it! In short, there's more nightmares than sweet memories going to the dentist!

After I've entered the room, I was being asked to sit at THE CHAIR. Oh my, my legs went jelly at that very moment..

The dentist first introduced himself as Dr. Ng. And the first thing i said was, "Will it be painful?" lol Oh I didnt mention, this is not a normal dentist check-up. I'm taking out one of my wisdom tooth, which involves cutting my teeth into a few pieces before taking them out. And it's called a surgery! Dr Ng kindly explained to me the after effect, although it's pretty scary to hear what he said. "The process will not be painful, it's actually the healing part that will be the trouble. It will take around 2 weeks to heal, depends on individual, some will heal fast, and some a little longer. But don't worry, it will be alright."

In my mind, I was thinking, "OMG! Two weeks? I thought it will heal in about 5 days? Dammit!"

He then started the surgery. First he put some paste on my gums and the areas around my wisdom tooth. He left it there for about a minute and two, then he took a needle and starts injecting a few areas of my gum to make them numb. When i thought he was done, he took another needle and inject again! But this time, one of the area i felt that it was my tongue he injected. Is it?

Then I was asked to gargle my mouth. I can see lotsa blood. Then I lay back down on the chair. Dr Ng talked to the nurses, while I was lying there, waiting for the anaesthetic to take place. Then Dr Ng talks to me again.

"Do you know that there will be swelling after the surgery?"
"No!"
"Oh, there might be a slight swelling. And there might also be a little bruises as when i pull ur teeth out, small blood vessels might burst. But don't worry. It is very normal to see all these."
"Okays"

It already sounded so scary before it even started! =.=''

He began taking out food that are stuck there, cleaning the area around the wisdom tooth. Korek here and there, all those "eee eeee" sound. Later on, he began taking an equipment and starts to saw my poor wisdom tooth. It's the exact sound when a carpenter saw its woods. "grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" And as it was really near my ear, it was so loud that my ear was hurting. Dr Ng keeps sawing and sawing then suddenly he stopped. I was kinda happy. Then later i saw him taking out one small little part of my teeth only. OMG! there's more to come. He continue sawing again. "grrrrrrrrriiiiiiiii". And again took out another small part of my teeth. He did that for the 3rd time too.

Later on, Dr Ng began putting another equipment in my mouth and starts pulling. After a little difficulty, TADA!!!!

I saw him pulling out the final part of my teeth covered with blood. I thought it was over. I though it's time for me to wash my mouth and I'm done.

He began cleaning the area around my 'hole'. Then i saw him holding a very long thread. OH MY! I forgot the part that he's going to stitch up my wound. =.=''

Then I'm done. Ready to go home, with a hole in my mouth, 2 weeks of staying at home, with only liquids and soft food to chew.

The whole process wasn't painful at all just like what Dr Ng said. But i hope the healing part wont be true too!

Thanks Dr Ng! Though i secretly pray that I dont need to see you again. lol
