happy birthday mary anne

had a plan to meet up with ex-cptarians yesterday. i went out from the hse about 11.45am, fetched meichi along the way and stop by karen's house. then all of us sat in karen's yellow banana car and fetch maryanne along the way to shinjutei, a japanese restaurant located in pulau tikus.

during the trip, i had to hide the bday cake with my legs, to avoid maryanne to notice! supposed to surprise her in the restaurant after our lunch!

of course it's kept inside a box!

karen dropped meichi and maryanne in the restaurant first, while me and karen went to look for a parking. and of course, to avoid maryanne to see the cake!

me and karen rounded pulau tikus! soooooooo many cars!! we finally found one near the pulau tikus bee cheng hiang. after karen's several attempt on side parking (she's gonna kill me.. hahaha.. but actually it's because there's lots of car. tension!) we finally parked. and just when we wanted to put shillings into the meter machine, we realised that it's spoil! even after we insert 30cents into it, it still show 19minutes left, unchanged from the start!! me and karen got a little worried, in case anything happened then we got summon, so we decided to write a note on the machine. our note is : "ROSAK. SUDAH MASUK 50 SEN" lol

we saw sien when we were walking on the way to shinjutei. karen actually wished her goodluck in finding a carpark!! i guess it was lunchtime so there's so many people in pulau tikus.

when we reach the restaurant, yoon arrived! she's the only one that is not late! haha. and she actually show off that she parked very near. cis cis cis sien arrived after about 10 minutes! cursing all the way with no parking and how far she actually parked! and also the uncle who refused to change shillings with her. lol

we chatted and laughed while waiting for the rest to arrive [ting, tsuyin, shuyee]. then we ordered our food. we couldnt wait for peng as she's still in her house when we called her!! i ordered chicken katsu don for rm12. it's nice!! yummy~

then of course we started taking photos! berpuluh-puluh pictures i'm sure.

she's my first friend from SK cpt!! all the way up until now.. that's THIRTEEN YEARS!

and suddenly... the waitress brought the cake.. everyone goes "ehhh.. ehhh ehhhh" ;)

after movie, most of them went back and become guai kia (good girl). going home to study/tuition for their stpm or upcoming exams.

me, maryanne, karen went to gurney for a movie. joe mun joined us too. we went to walk around gurney to kill some time before our movie starts at 4.25pm - mamma mia!

we went home after movie. i had a marvelous day. i always love to meet my cpt friends! with them around, laughter is always around. i laughed till i had stomach ache yesterday! i miss you all already!! *hugz* thx for the wonderful day. and thanks karen for the transportation.
