rattan

it's been long since i hang out with ting. i mean yeah, nowadays we just hang out as a group, or just for a movie. no more those guiding days, camp days, rangers days, school days... u get what i mean? hehehe

anyway, went out for lunch with her and kershin today. went for famous loh bak and chicken rice in town. we even stopped by for chendol near chowrasta market! what to do, they are both so tham jiak.. unlike me, the loh bak and chicken rice already make bloated. couldnt eat a bowl of chendol anymore.

after lunch, we wanna go to the rattan shop to buy rattan as they both need to do something for their churchmate's wedding.. we were supposed to go to beach street.. and we ended up round and round and round the whole area... and FINALLY we found beach street after many many attemps attempt (1),

happily we drive through the road and suddenly we realised! the shop is at the other end. not the end we are heading to.. so we turn into a lane and came back after a round back into into beach street (2).. and we still cant find the shop.. so we turn back in and tried the next lane (3)... we actually tried till (4) before we found the rattan shop (X)!

i dunno if u understand what i'm typing here, so i'll just tell u the kesimpulan, which is....WE ROUNDED MANY MANY ROUNDS BEFORE WE ACTUALLY FOUND THE RATTAN SHOP!!!

so after surveying and looking for what they need, they ended up buying a 12 chiok tina (direct translation: 12 ruler rattan?). then the problem comes. 12 chiok is about 12 x 30cm=3.6meter!! how are we going to carry it to their church?

yes, miss tan shu-min and miss kershin gotta stand the embarrassment and hold the 12 chiok rattan outside of the vehicle allllllllll the way until we reach their church.. and the worse part is, it's 1 something in the noon... our hands are being bbq-ed under the sun!! and on the way back, the road was jam! school hours just finished.. =.=''

what an experience!! but it was fun hanging out with two crazy aunties. oops! i mean girls. hehe
