Hiking and Bbq in Monkey Beach

after many discussions, finally the plan is on. 18 march 2009. hike to monkey beach.

6.45am - karenP, hooichin and jasvin reach chuileng's house. ranjini suppose to be waiting there too.
6.55am - fetch lean
7.10am - fetch shu-min

but the truth is, they left butterworth at 7am. lol they came and fetch me at my place about 7.35am. then off we go to Taman Negara!

after much delays, we started hiking at 8.50am.

at first the path is easy and beautiful

at around 10am, finally we reached our destination! MONKEY BEACH!

the moment we reach, we sang the song "we are the champions, my friends" lol and we couldnt help but to just drop our things and go crazyyyyyyyy!!!!!!

after much rest, at about 10.30am, we start to prepare for our bbq session.

others help to find a cheap and reasonable safe boat trip back to Taman Negara.

then the BBQ STARTS!! FOOD ATTACKKKKKK!!!!

we had lotsa fun. we sat down, chatted, bbq-ed, laughed, eat, joked, eat, perli-ed, eat again...

after many many rounds of sausages, potatos, nuggets, toast bread, burgers... some of them decided to stop eating and continue to enjoy around the beach.

at about 1.30pm, we cleaned the place faster than superman would've done. lol it's actually because we told the pak cik of the boat that we would ride his boat at 1pm. he was kind enough to wait for us until 1.30pm. thank you pak cik! the boat ride costs us rm50 for 7 of us.

in this trip, we sweat, we complained, we ate dirty overcooked food, but despite being so tired and dirty, we had so much fun! we laughed so much. it was a wonderful trip!! another sweet memory huh? ;D
