Part 1: Phuket - Airport, Marriott, Turtle Village

2 October 2009 - Friday

Flew to KL through Air Asia during late evening.

3 October 2009 - Saturday
Early morning, flew from KL to Phuket. Arrived in Phuket feeling excited!

First view

We booked the hotel transport service (1300 Baht for a van). On the way we stopped by at a mini market to buy some daily food like eggs, salt, rice, etc for our one week stay ahead!

When I reached the entrance of the hotel, I was shocked! I know I'm staying in Marriott but somehow it didnt occur to me that it's THE Marriott. Noob me~

The moment we reached, we were given a necklace made of real Orchid flower. Makes us feel ala hawaii!

So this one week ahead, my family and I are going to stay in Marriott Vacation Club. We prefer the apartment style concept, rather than hotel style in JW Marriott. It's more homey. =)

And the moment we went into our room... OMG! *stunned*

We did not hang out that day. Just visited all round the hotel taking pictures.

And since it was Lantern Festival according to the Chinese calendar, we had a small celebrating by eating mooncakes and drinking chinese tea.
