Part 8: South Africa - Access Park, Green Point

3rd january 2009
now that we've done the most important sight seeing attractions, it's time for us to do some shopping! so we went over to Access Park, where they have....

Access Park

50 outlet stores and 50 factory shops! WOWWWW~!~!~!

at Access Park

kuma happy with her purchase for her granddaughter

eating our lunch box

if only i have the machine that prints money! lol

at the junction

i wanted to find a sport shoe in nike. just as i was about to walk into the nike shop, it was closed already! reason: saturday closes at 3pm =.=''

one thing i hate about SA is that they really enjoy their life so much. they dont open their shops on weekends. HELLOOOOO people are only free to do their shopping during the weekends right? saturday they either close at 1pm or 3 pm the most. sunday they totally close their shop the whole day. arghhhhh

so, we have no choice but to go over to the nearby mall.

tit bits yummy

even in the mall, we gotta rush our shopping because the mall closes at 5pm! i hate SA shops on weekends. lol

4th january 2009
we decided to go to Green Point to get our souvenirs of south africa. it only opens on sunday. furthermore, according to shu-wen, the souvenirs there are cheaper compared to Green Market as Green Market is already a little more commercialized for tourists.

all these handicrafts are specially crafted by wood

animals crafted out of wood

the thing is, it's really really extremely super duper very hot there. it's the hottest place in SA that i've been so far. the few hours there must have darken my skin for at least 10 layers! =.=''

after we came back from SA, we gather up all the souvenirs that we bought. it filled our whole dining table!
